Visit Hampton Court Palace, an awe-inspiring and flamboyant showcase for kingship. Its vast and never ending vistas, courtyards, gardens and parkland, along with its magnificent State Apartments are designed to impress and rival the greatest palaces of Europe. For 500 years it has stood on the banks of the river Thames, an opulent symbol of power, prestige and majesty.

Discover the magnificence of Henry VIII's favourite royal residence. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the bustling Tudor Base Court and marvel at the breath taking grandeur of the State Rooms. Tickle your taste buds in Henry VIII's extensive kitchens, stroll through over 60 acres of enchanting gardens and appreciate the beauty of one of the greatest palaces on earth.

With its beautiful gardens and extensive parkland, set by the riverside, the rose red brick Tudor palace is indelibly associated with Henry VIII. Equally, the elegant Baroque palace, first occupied in 1700, is surrounded by one of the world’s greatest gardens. The sumptuous interiors and furnishings reflect the tastes of many monarchs over the centuries. This is a palace filled with stories and delights.

You will also be able to see the recently restored 18th century "Chocolate Kitchen". This will combine the re-creation of historic interiors with live interpretation and an innovative audio visual display which will show visitors how this royal beverage was made by Thomas Tosier, personal chocolate maker to George I and George II.
